Born in Port Washington, New York in July 1972, Weiner graduated from Clark University where he played lacrosse and set school records. He worked as an intern for Madison Square Garden, New York Knicks, and New York Rangers. Later, he moved to Florida and interned for the Miami Marlins and Miami Dolphins.
